Burnout and stress can make you feel

you are just surviving – and not thriving

Learn how to rebalance, cope

better, and adapt to life’s curveballs

If you feel that your work is a main source of stress in your life, that you are finding less and less joy in your profession, and are struggling with feelings of overwhelm, fatigue, or dread, it may mean you are dealing with burnout or chronic stress.

  • Typical symptoms of those conditions are:

  • Unwillingness to go to work

  • Significantly lowered work performance

  • Constant feeling of fatigue

  • Feeling drained, both emotionally and physically

  • Struggling to complete tasks efficiently and on time

  • Irritability or a shorter fuse than normal

  • Avoidance of routine tasks

  • Overwhelm and decision fatigue

As you can see, these symptoms can reach beyond your work and can affect your life outside of work. Thankfully, you don’t have to deal with this challenge on your own; let me help!

You don’t have to struggle alone

with burnout and chronic stress

You can recover from burnout and learn

how to manage stress in a healthy way

therapist office

Through therapy, you will learn how to prioritize your psychological well-being, cope better with stress (work and non-work-related), and find a balance that works for you. The goal is for you to regain stability and perspective that allows you to thrive both personally and professionally, rather than just getting through the day.

When working with clients dealing with burnout, I use various therapeutic approaches and modalities, such as Eye Movement Reprocessing and Desensitization (EMDR), parts work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and stress management techniques so that they can identify what is contributing to the burnout and stress (and perpetuating it over time), barriers to recovery, and how to overcome those barriers.

I will also work with you to develop resiliency skills, empowering you to bounce back from setbacks, adapt to change, and face life’s everyday stressors and curveballs with courage and greater ease.

Let’s work on your burnout and stress

Hello, I’m Megan, and I’ll be happy to assist you on your journey to a more balanced, more engaged life.

Being a lawyer turned therapist myself I know firsthand about work-related stress and burnout. This unique background enables me to help professionals and students like you navigate the challenges of your personal and professional lives. I know how stressful and frustrating work can be (while also feeling like there is nothing you can do about it). I don’t want you to feel stuck anymore; together, we can work towards change.

When working with me, you enter a safe and supportive space where you can talk about your experiences, understand them better, and find a way to a more purposeful, balanced, and authentic life for you.
